post-Melb

Since I returned to Syd from Melb, been flat out. Started the new job, worked 6 days the week before, 6 days the week after, and now 5 days this week, when I'm supposed to be working only 4 as a part-timer. But I guess I didn't mind, especially since hols.

Also, friends were around which is always a good thing. The first week was practically filled with work. Second week, I was also pretty packed with work, but managed to put in some time for some Melb friends who came down for the Hillsong Conference. Also had a childhood friend come down for a visit. I brought him to my church and then we all had lunch at the Fish Market. I'm contemplating on going next year... Third week which is this week, one of my close Syd Uni friends returned and she bunked over my place. It was her bday the next day but she hung out with moi anywayz... I can't believe it though - I baked for her this apple crumble and she started washing up - like on her bday! This week, also met up with another friend (from Macq Uni).

And so far, managed to catch these movies:
Get Smart - It was actually really good. Not so corny and cheesy at all. I really really enjoyed it!
Hancock - It wasn't too bad. There wasn't much history involved in his superhero evolution, so it'd probably not intrigue the Marvel/DC type fans. But I actually quite liked it too... especially the surprise with the female character. Now, you'll just have to watch it to know what I'm on about. If you're a superhero lover like me, I think it's still worth the watch.
