Yes, I know... it's been a while since I blogged. Seriously been so flat out. Was working 6 days last week, one day off, and then 6 days again. I think they really wanna make use of me before I head back to uni. Sem 2 starts early Aug...
So much to do really at work...
Not sure if I mentioned, but during my job last week, I was spotted by a client who offered me a contracter position during my work hours to do voice-over work for corporate commercials/ads. I took up the offer and next week, I have to record my voice in the studios. How exciting!
Also, rem how I was complaining about my current boss? God is sometimes good really, cause yesterday while I was doing some training, the soon-to-be operations manager asked if I'd like to also be his assistant scheduler. I think it's a stage where everyone's movin around. But for me, it's as though I don't have a set position... like I'm everywhere. I am thinking they're gonna find it very difficult to pay me cause my position is really versatile. Hmmm... And now with so many people falling sick and the Olympics starting in early Aug (same time I start uni sem 2), the managers have said that I am probably the only one who is versatile enough to be moved around everywhere. Sometimes they say they wish they could split me. Haha... Am a little overwhelmed with the compliments... Like who wouldn't? But definitely God seems to be blessing me in career. Next step - save for a house, settle down, have kids... haha... Tough times ahead...
This weekend, my childhood friend is coming over for a week... I'll be working but I'll have some time to spare - hopefully. We're not that close, but we've known each other since I was 10... met at this church camp. Also next week, the Pope is coming here to Sydney and all the roads in the CBD will be closed and transport will be changed... Apparently, there will be about 250,000 people to greet him. I hope I don't get stuck in traffic... It'll prob be a nightmare getting around...
Bz, bz...
